write it on the skyline

One of my fave quotes from a book ever!

New addiction: Pintrest! I've seen
people tweeting/blogging about it previously and didn't quite get the hype: how could saving pictures be fulfilling? Oh my god haha, I was so wrong! I'm a little bit obsessed now and its such a good way to find inspiration-I'm currently deciding on a tattoo so this is v.helpful! Fun fun fun.

Apologies for not posting in a week or so, been so busy! November was supposed to be my month of boredom/spendthriftyness (?) but all I've done is go out and buy things...bad times! My cousins at Coventry Uni so I've been to visit her a couple of times and Weds night was Carnage which is like a massive student bar crawl thing-such a fun night! They do them abroad aswell I think, can't wait to go on holiday and do it again! You get tshirts and have to do loads of challenges then tick them off as you go which is a good laugh, I swear being a uni student seems the most fun ever! Speaking of uni, I'm currently sorting out all my UCAS stuff to apply for next September and its so scary-I'm absolutely petrified of getting rejections. Its inevitable but still! Have any of you guys applied/got any offers yet? And if your at university how do you find the workload/nightlife etc? SO exciting!
Hope you're all good and settling into A/W-gotta say I'm LOVING getting my winter coat on, nothing like feeling cosy! Will do an outfit post soon,

spit blood in the ocean

Top: ASOS, Shorts: Vintage Levi via Topshop, Shoes: Converse (borrowed from Cathers)
Apologies for the crappy phone pictures: as Queen of Unorganisation, I have taken zero outfit photos even though I've been out 3 times this week-wish I was less scatty!  I felt like such a 'lad' in this outfit-I never wear trainers/pumps as I just don't suit them, but I know understand the appeal...major comfort! This is what I wore to Snobs on Wednesday which is one of my favourite places to go out for a boogie, the music is A* (think classics like this + my current fave this) and nobody takes themselves to seriously-there's lots of screaming lyrics to random strangers and boys attempting to mosh like they're at a festival. Always good fun!
Before this we went to see Peace at The Rainbow who are seriously incredible-such a good atmosphere and crowd, and considering it was in a pub the amount of nutters crowdsurfing was hilarious! If you've not heard of them before this is Bloodshake-such a hit!

Is anyone else totally not creative when it comes to dressing up/Halloween? I swear every blog I've been on today has featured gorgeous girls in creepy-cool attire (Ronan as Beetlejuice was my stand out!), wish me and the girls put so much effort in! In the end we decided to go as a Zombie Army...not sure it was quite as effective as it should have been...

Check out Eve on the left...the only one who took the theme seriously!!
Hope you guys were more creative than myself when it came to dressing up...next year I've promised myself I'll make more of an effort! I'm off to the V+A tomorrow to see a costume exhibition and I am SO excited-feels like I havn't been to London in years!! Ahhh there's nowhere more magical than London!

'No beauty is attractive without zest'

So I'm currently reading (well, casually flicking) through Christian Dior's iconic  'The Little Dictonary Of Fashion', and my favourite reference has to be to Zest on the final page. According to Dior,
'anything you do, work or pleasure, you have to do it with zest.'
How right he was! I am the most laid back person in the world-to the point of irration sometimes-but if you want to succeed or do anything well its impossible without putting that extra effort in: that 'zest' if you will.
In every aspect of life those with 'zest' are achieving more-celebrities, scholars, bloggers, those in retail or customer service-the ones doing the best are striving to be original and the best they can be. As cheesey as it sounds, I find this v.motivating...my future is going to be 'zesty' if it kills me!*

Cara Delevingne-QUEEN OF ZEST 2012

Can you guys think of any other people recently who just seem to ooze 'it' (even in a 'couldn't-care-less' way like Miss Delevingne)?

keep the earth below my feet

Inspiring autumn

Adoring autumn trends right now, I'm desperate for my wardrobe to be full of thick materials and rich colours. The Topshop Adonis2 boots are top of my coveting list: not sure whether to get them in black or oxblood though? The black are more timeless/versatile, but the shade pictured are so unique and 'wow' haha-Topshop are doing well with their boots this season! Love love love way too many of them!
Also considering investing in the Louise Gray lipstick purely because its called 'legend'-sells itself really doesn't it! Oh + that tartan scarf is Topman + may actually be my first buy off this list-I've been searching for a similar one since River Island sold theirs last year (they ruined it with the stitching at the bottom, it really irratated me haha).
What are your most lusted after items this A/W? Would love some inspiration.

the world of molly

So I've made a new blog! I had my last one for over a year, on and off and to be honest I just got tired of picking it up again after I got lazy. However, this time I'm determined and excited to make it work! I really enjoy blogging and reading fashion/style/lifestyle blogs is something I do everyday, and recently I've felt motivated to get involved again.
This blog will basically me a diary of my outfits and style, aswell as comments on current trends and other things of interest. If you have any other ideas of what I could do to improve 'molly's style' please let me know.

Well this is me!
